The PPL program is conducted with single-engine airplanes and is the basic course to become a pilot. Student Pilots are able to take-off and land the aircraft and fly the aircraft cross- country. During the program the Student will accumulate around 40 flight hours. If the successful graduate desires to become a professional pilot he or she can then enroll in the Advanced Commercial Pilot Program and complete a Commercial Pilot License endorsed with an Instrument Rating in both single-engine and multi-engine aircraft. The Young Eagle course is international standard using English Language throughout both theoretical and practical studies. The program is approved by Thai Department of Civil Aviation (Thai DCA).
To join and graduate in the PPL program the applicant must successfully complete:
- Principles of Flight - The Flight Environment - Aircraft Systems and Performance - Meteorology for Pilots - Basic Navigation - Radio Navigation Systems - Human Factors - Aeronautical Decision Making - Rules of the Air and Air Traffic Service - Flying Safety - Technical Type Knowledge - Radio Telephony and Signals |
